UPDATE on 4/30: Added captions by submitter Valentin. Iris - Awakening, DIF005, limited edition. Rare and expensive cd, I asked Andrew and Brian Pearson if if's still possible to find the cd, and they answered that all cds were sold out ages ago (although Andy has a few left). But once a friend of mine from Moscow found this disc at cheaper price on Amazon and made me a present. I was dreaming of this album over the years!
Andrew's neck. I made this picture after the show in Moscow in 2004. This was the last shot on tape, and my favorite one. Because no one had made a picture like this.Audiophonik and Freedom. The first one was extremely hard to find, and I was able to get it some years later. Also I asked the creator of these cds Dan Wright about Freedom, and he told me that he still has some packed copies (1995!). Forward Rewindings EP "For Molly". I have a friend, a girl from the Black sea, and once she told me "Andrew is cute" or something. Heh, I imagined how happy she will be if Andrew himself will sign a cd for her! And I contacted Andy, asked him to carry one disc for me (which was hard to get 6 years ago). This was one of the happiest moments in my life.A picture of my cd-collection. Each year I put all my cds on the floor to make a photo of them. When I was young it was impossible to buy anything from foreign countries. First of all, the price was high for russians, we didn't have credit cards, online shops didn't know about Russia, and paypal was unable in our country for a long time. And I was dreaming of these albums of musicians I know. But time passed, and now I'm a collector. So, this is a photo of 2006 or so, and you may see Necros' cds on it.Andrew is signing my t-shirt. Iris came to Russia again in 2006. This time I was not alone - I came with many demoscene people, guys of gaming industry, and serious and imfamous musicians. We all knew Andy, and everyone wanted to chat with him. It's a long story, but I remember the moment when Andrew saw me, and he was shocked and wasn't able to tell anything for a few seconds.Iris - It Generates. This cd released in Poland only. It's extremely megarare. My Moscow friend found one copy, paid about $70, and the seller was owner of Infected Records. The cd is not mine, but I have a copy, hi-res scan, and I touched this disc. Wow!Me, Andrew and my Moscow friend Basil (Vasily). It was in 2004, after the Iris show. This day changed my life... Job, hobbies, friends, relations, concerts and people... A LOT. Maybe I will write a book of my experience. Wow, a good idea! |
